Reuben Aldeen Park has a lot to offer This park is very beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing, Walking through the woods can be a fun activity for everyone even your kids. (My backyard goes into this park so I see all kinds of animals in this park. If you are quiet you can find deer making this exciting for kids) In the winter the overflow from the dam makes a great sledding hill. Note: this land especially the open field retains rain water and the ground is usually like a Marsh or swamp and is very spongy) This usally causes bugs mainly mosquitoes to hatch's so bring bug spray. Avoid poison ivy.

Note2: there is a city ordinance of a curfew to be in this...

Aldean Park is a clean family friendly and large park for being in the middle of the city. I love hiking the trails through the forest on the east side of the park. There's a large hill that everyone goes sledding on I. The winter. I see a lot of family's use the shelter to throw party's. People bring their dogs to hike the trails or just walk them along the road ways through the park. Always being kept up with a grounds keeper (like a...

I LOVE this park for its mysterious "abandoned" feel - for what it obviously used to be at one time, and what it could be again. I would love to see a renovation of the park, and some increased monitoring to minimize vandalism of the trees. I kinda love the graffiti art on the dam, but it has spread throughout the park. This could be a real gem with a...

One of my favorite local spots to get some fresh air. The scenery is great, and there’s a good amount of walking paths, which makes it perfect for a quick walk or a longer stroll if you’ve got more time. Everything’s well-kept, and it’s just a peaceful place to clear your head without having to go far. Always a solid choice.

Play kids love going here. There are plenty of fun things for them to do and climbing all over the damn as enjoyable but there are also trails that go through the woods with lots of fun things to see as well as a creek to play in when the water is running.
