Plenty of trash cans about. -- large, cement block, multi-room (unisex, large enough fit double stroller), freestanding restoom. -- Large, well groomed soccer/grass area abutts pavillion. -- Then softball complex abutts soccer area, which has another large, cement block, 3-room (unisex, large enough fit double stroller), freestanding restoom. -- On this Saturday morning, very heavily used by birthday parties with small children. Cons: TRASH everywhere. Whoever litters here should be ashamed of themselves! Dirty diapers, garbage, broken beer bottles and glass covering the sidewalk. Each time we've come here we pick up broken beer bottles and glass so the barefoot kids playing in the water dont cut themselves. it's bad!

We live in Citrus Heights and make special trips to this park because it’s great for our kiddo who is leery around other water parks and splash pads, but Whitney has enough variety to have fun, cool off, and not get overwhelmed. The playground is MASSIVE and is spread out enough to enjoy and not get overrun by bigger kids. The smaller playground is nice, but kiddo is drawn to the big one.
