Memorial Park Hike & Bike Nature Trails — Attraction in Rockport

Lots of good walking trails, a covered exercise park, skate park, sports fields, dog park. Probably even more. A lot of the walking paths are covered with lots of good shade but in some spots it may be more sporadic so definitely be prepared in the sun/heat. There is also a beautiful pond towards the back. This park is a pretty good size with much to do. We took advantage of the short hiking trail and took time to check out the dog park. The turtles were fun to watch! They have other activities you can take advantage of and can also rent out a pavilion, if I'm not mistaken, for special occasions. There is also a bathroom there. It's not much, but it's clean. Great multi user park in town. Most walking trails are paved. Garbage containers and doggy poop bags are all along the trails. There is a fairly large pond with wildlife and turtles.
