If you're looking for a sandy beach, go down Huron a mile or two. If you're looking for a tumbled stone beach that you could sit at for hours and pick up pretty treasures, this is it! Chirt, granite, agate, petoskey, geode, pudding, horn coral, a little bit of everything. There's a steep little drop from the parking lot to the beach and I didn't notice an easier slope anywhere, so it might be tough for grandma to navigate, but the view is gorgeous (duh) and the rocks are worth...

Due to high water levels this park has changed SO MUCH over the last year. If you dont believe in climate change go here and watch it happen right before your eyes. Most of the pictures on here are outdated. The point no longer exists. There is almost no sand. The water is almost to the parking lot. But its still a wonderful place to watch a...

Excellent place to watch the water, enjoy your lunch by the lake, or walk and look for stones. We were there in middle August. The water was cool, but not cold, and the population was low due to COVID, closing various things. Tons of stones to pick through, lots of beach front to walk if you want. It was a nice little lunch stop for...

Beautiful park. If you love looking for sea glass and rocks like my husband and I do, definitely check it out if you're in the area! EXCELLENT place to see some of the big freighters coming in and out of port on Lake Huron to Calcite Limestone Quarry. For anyone who doesn't know, that limestone quarry is the WORLD'S largest. Happy Adventures!

Quiet park on the lake at the edge of Rogers City. We enjoyed a bike ride along the trail from nearby state park. There is a self guided dirt path along the coast in the nature area which we also enjoyed. This park has bathrooms along with picnic tables in a grassy area. Very clean park! We were here in end of September.
