The game was fun, but there was no free water. On my day of visit, it was 93 degrees outside (felt like 98) and the only way of getting water was buying a five dollar bottle of dasani. There was a water cooler at the clubhouse for free, but those who don't pay for the clubhouse are denied access to the water. The only way of getting free water is by drinking from the sink. All of this combined with the fact that this is a team in the deep south in the summer, where humidity and heat are high. Water is a human necessity and should be provided for free. This is a cash grab. They did claim to have water fountains, but we did not find them, and were told there was a good chance that they were shut off. In June. Ridiculous. Edit: you can visibly see where the water fountains were but one week ago. They were recently torn out and in the location where customer service directed us. Please replace the...
Read moreI truly hate doing this but at this point this has gotten crazy. I have been a fan of rome baseball since i was a little kid and have been going to games since i was 7 years old. Recently i ordered a jersey from the store there online because i love too far away to drive up there and get it myself, I’ve done with all of my Rome emperors merch. My most recent order, I placed a week ago and have not gotten any notification that anything had been shipped or anything. I emailed asking what was going on and was very rudely told that they’d ship it when they can. First off, there’s no home stand so what are they doing and secondly the Rome store isn’t open that long during the day and I know they aren’t busy so besides twiddling your thumbs all day what do you do? Collin runs that store like a joke. Starla would’ve never let this happen. I will never order anything online from them again and I...
Read moreWe absolutely love attending games at the Rome Braves Stadium. You will pay minor league prices and get a big league experience! The baseball is quite fun to watch. At times, some of the Atlanta Braves will rehab here, making it that much more enjoyable. The food is always good whether at concessions or in a suite. We were fortunate to be able to attend as guests in the Coca Cola Suite with the generous Danny Waits. It was a great game and super fun atmosphere. Watch out for pop ups though because those players sure hit with some force. This year, I also had the honor of attending a game with 250 TOP NOTCH Floyd County School students. Katie Aspin for the Rome Braves was a superior host. Make plans to attend a game, and you will have a...
