My husband and I have been customers of Lumina for about 4 years, since we moved to GA. My husband has been a almost every day customer since then. I stop goin for a while because they never make the coffee and sandwich the same. One day is good, and the next day not that good. The last months I started to go back, and since I started eating healthier I liked stopping to grab a coffee before going to work. Even though I have coffee at home and at work. It was more for the experience than the coffee, Because they don’t always make it the same anyways. I’ve been getting the 12 oz cappuccino w/ oatmilk, paying around $5.40. The last times the coffee had little flavor of coffee so I thought to add an extra shot, and I was still paying the same, which includes the $.80 for the oatmilk. On Wednesday Emily charged me almost $7 for the same exact thing I’ve been getting. She took my order before with the extra shot, but that day she decided that I should pay more. I thought “wow”, but I got my coffee. When I opened it was half (12oz) cup or maybe less, rest was all foam. I was so disappointed, because as a loyal customer I felt that I was being treated unfairly. It’s not about the extra $.80 cent on top of the .$80 cents for the oatmeal. It’s the treatment, feeling unappreciated and not valued as a customer that not only me and my husband being going there for years, all the friends and coworkers that we recommend Lumina instead of Starbucks. As a manager of a company, I know how important is to make our consumers appreciated. It’s not about the money or the product, it’s about the experience and how consumers feels in your business. I would happily pay $7 for a really good coffee. I have pay it before. But don’t charge me a different price one day and more the other for the same exact thing, and don’t charge me more for 5 oz of coffee. It’s simply not a good service. I will never ever in my life go to...
Read moreLast Saturday, I purchased a Medium Mocha Cappuccino via the drive-thru as I was leaving town. The coffee itself was enjoyable, but unfortunately, towards the end of the drink, I encountered an unexpected small blue plastic piece in my mouth, clearly not part of the coffee's ingredients. I promptly contacted Lumina to share this incident, and they connected me with a male manager who assured me that I could receive a complimentary replacement drink and a refund. I explained that I couldn't return that day, and he kindly reassured me that I could come in at my convenience, mentioning that he had made a note of the situation.
Today, on August 5, 2023, exactly a week later, I visited Lumina to claim my refund and complimentary coffee. As I pulled up to the drive-thru, I informed the staff about the incident and provided my name. After receiving my replacement coffee, I inquired about the refund. The staff member conferred with the manager on duty, and it was regretfully communicated to me that they were unable to process a refund due to the elapsed 24-hour window.
While this experience has dampened my spirits, I'd like to emphasize a couple of points: Firstly, it's important not to promise what cannot be delivered. Additionally, since Lumina is closed on Sundays, obtaining a refund on that day wouldn't have been feasible regardless.
This situation has left me feeling quite...
Read moreAbsolutely incredible. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Just got my order about 15 minutes ago and had to post a review!!! Wow the coffee, very good, but then they also had food!!! Omg one way to my heart is food and when I saw banana toast I just had to get it. Well I was expecting some normal plain Jane bread but nay nay I opened the package and behold a BEAUTIFUL banana toast. It was like the lights of heaven shined upon me and gifted me this beautiful toast. And the smell!! Absolutely delicious!! And I couldn’t write a review and not mention the amazing customer service. If I could use one word I would say incredible. The young lady over the intercom was so sweet and just amazing. Then as we roll up to the window there she was being just a ray of hope and so full of life. I would have gone back just to witness her kindness again. I’m not sure of her name but she had brown curly hair and a lovely smile. To the owner if you ever read this give her a raise and treat her right because people like her don’t come around too often. Amazing....
