Volunteer Park — Attraction in Romeoville

My daughter has played softball at these fields for many years as well as, attended many other events. Considering the amount of people that utilize the area, the upkeep is fantastic. I rarely see garbage on the ground. Ther facilities are kept clean and it even has concessions. I will say that the concession prices are on the high side but, I try to remember that the money is used for the upkeep. The fences are intact and the fields are nice. Opposite the ball fields are large soccer fields. I've even seen model airplane enthusiasts use these fields when there's no games. The fields are well lit for night games and are equipped with lightening detectors for everyone's safety. Finally, the area is surrounded by prairie land with plenty of room...
