I parked in the lot near Old Alabama Rd and the walking and biking trail entances to the woods were right there. I walked and the trail was easy. I did the forest trail in 30 minutes. When I exited the trail it put me on a wide paved path. Most of it was shared with bikes but eventually branched off for bikes only and pedestrians only paths, still paved. There was many bridges that I liked. It was nice exploring. I started in Roswell and 3 miles later was in Alpharetta. It was easy to walk and not feel exerted. I eventually had to turn back because it was getting dark. You can spend a whole day walking the park. Many people walking and on bikes were there. A few had dogs. I also saw some deer up close and were able to take pictures. They didn't seem fearful. The park is a nice integration of nature and structured park system. Some waterways were dried up but still had creeks and I think a riverway in some areas. I highly recommend this place for all people. It's easy to walk even in...

The paved trail is beautiful with lots of marshes and wildlife along the way - plenty of bike stations if you need to make a minor repair along the way. Lots of pedestrians and kids so you have to be-careful and control your speed. It’s a great spot for a weekend ride you can even grab a beer at Jekyll brewing or food at the Halcyon cafeteria. This parking lot also has easy access to all the mountain bike trails in the area which range from pump tracks, single track, double track, blues to triple blacks with jumps and drops and lots of features. Great place for any biking discipline at any...
Read moreRelaxing shady trail through a wonderful natural area. The path offers lots of options and ways to traverse the trail. There are many entrances to the Greenway so it offers lots of possibilities to enter and exit. The trail has parts that separate bike and foot traffic so pedestrians can walk without bikes whizzing by. The trail runs between Roswell and Alpharetta. It's mostly flat as it runs next to the creeks/river. There are even dividers to help keep the party organized especially to help kids know which side to ride on. There are also benches and pull outs to rest. It's a great way to spend an afternoon...
