This is a beautiful park/trail concept that runs along the Chattahoochee River. I have been wanting to go here for a while after recently driving by here a couple of times in the last few weeks. It just looked so cool when driving by, so came here with a friend who's been to this trail before.
This riverside trail is clean, well managed and plenty of trash cans and hangout spots along the way. The trail goes both through the woods and over the water with multiple bridges connecting you to different parts of the trails. This might be my favorite park concept in the area and I strongly recommend making a stop here for an early afternoon stroll or in the evening when you can get a spot in the Willeo Park Parking location...it is very limited so go before 3 or after 7 when you are more likely to find a spot at the lot. There is also some street parking next to the halfway point on the trail, just make sure to not park on the pavement or you WILL get a $50 ticket.
I have added some pictures of some of the views from the different parts of the trails, so stop by here after checking how busy...

Recommended for the bird watchers among us. A decent section of the boardwalk is by the road, but the part that is away from the road is tranquil and relaxing. More parking near the boardwalk would be nice as only a small parking lot is available, but you can park on the side of Willeo Rd as long as you are completely off the shoulder. Otherwise, you will...
