Carters Lake Fishing Charters — Local services in Dallas

I booked a 4-hr fishing charter for 3 older teen boys during Spring Break on Carters Lake. They were picked up promptly at 7:15am at Woodring Branch boat ramp by Captain Dan. After 4 hours, they didn't see much action so the Captain decided to try another spot & extended the trip out (which was super awesome of him & very much appreciated). In the last 15 minutes of the trip one of the boys hooked a new boat record, a 22lb 35" striper! Very exciting for the boys & now they're plotting on...

Had a great time! We caught about 20+ strips and hybrid on Lake Altoona. Most were in the 2-4 pound range. My buddy even caught a 4 1/2 ft. gar that “released itself” at the side of the boat.
