Love this park! Great atmosphere and love the two open fields right next to the playground. Only downfall is the restrooms are always locked. In 2 years of coming here I have yet to see anyone use the restrooms. Also given this park is next to a bike/hike trail I believe the restrooms should be open to the public. . the restroom door has a sign stating it can only be opened by residents but if you want to keep people out just build a fence around the entire Park and have only residents use it... There's also NO other indication of that fact until you are directly in front of the restroom, needing to use the facilities. Hopefully, you're an adult who can hold it and NOT a CHILD with VERY little time before an accident.
Denying access to restrooms with running water is just asking for the urine and feces to be spread all over the park itself. Case in point, my son had an accident and there was NO PLACE to clean up.
It's just bad planning! There are other, better, ways to keep a place clean and control resources!

Read moreThis is my neighborhood park and we just love it. The mature pecan trees gives it lots of shade in the summer. Besides a great place for kids the open space makes it a great place to organize a team sport. Backstops for softball and T-ball are available, as well as, open space for soccer and volleyball. Playground equipment can get a bit hot in middle of summer June-August, since there is no cover at this writing.
