Green Valley Lake Beach — Attraction in Running Springs

I would like to give this place a better review cause the town and lake is beautiful but the people that run the beach are lazy and don't follow through with there listed times. Got to the beach at 3:30 and it was closed said was open till 5pm, so no one could swim the rest of the day cause it's the only swimming area and was locked. So we decided to walk over to the rental place and literally walked up at 3:50-4. And he said they don't allow rentals past 4. For a paddle board or kayak I literally just wanted to get on the lake some how but wasn't possible. No one answers the numbers that are listed on any of the Google maps locations for the beach or rentals so good luck getting information. Wasted a good 2 hours driving to get here, assuming they want to just keep it a small town and not have a bunch of visitors if that's the case that's totally cool! Just dont waste visitors times with false...
