Fortress of Fun | Axe Throwing, Arcade, Bounce Houses, and More — Attraction in Rutland Town

A great place for little kids to run off some steam. We have had fun there for sure. Although sometimes we have had bigger kids running up the slide in the bouncy house while my son was already going down like it’ll feel like there’s not enough supervision from either staff or the parents themselves. And we once had a really unfortunate time where my son really wanted a train set that was one of the prizes. I didn’t have enough tickets and would’ve gladly bought the train set outright but when I asked what happens if you don’t have enough tickets, the owner said they don’t allow people to buy the items any longer because it caused issues. My son was hysterical and I had to carry him out crying. It would have been cool if they could have made an exception especially due to how upset he was but that was a no go. I ended up buying the set online but would’ve rathered give a small business my money for it. We went back since that happened and we’d go back again...

The price is extremely reasonable for a good hour or two of play. Arcade games are fun and the availability of prizes at the counter and in the crane machines are well worth what you pay to play the games.

It is very clean, bright and has good air flow (seriously, these places have potential to really have stale, smelly feet air, but not here). Bathrooms are spacious and clean and the owners are wonderful!

We recently rented out the movie space for a family gathering and it was a true delight. We were able to pick our movie, were given delicious popcorn and were able to bring in our own lunch. It was so fun to have a whole movie theater to ourselves! My daughter and her cousins loved it.

Great staff! We had our daughters 4th birthday party here. When looking over the list of themes we did not initially see the top choice for her request. I asked the staff if they could acquire it and within a few days they were able to get all the requested decorations. They did a fantastic job overall. No real complaints other than a couple games were out of order but that’s understandable. The top party package was affordable, the staff/owners were courteous, kind and accommodating. My daughter had a blast and never forgets to point out FORTRESS OF FUN when we drive by it. Also we ordered pizzas from Maple Angus right next door and were given a discount on the order because we were having a party at FOF. Great job and we will likely be having another...
