Google Maps will take you close or hopefully to the small parking π ΏοΈ area along RT 1A. The Google reviews I have seen are accurate. The other non Google reviews about sand and being dog π friendly are incorrect. It's connected to Rye North Beach β±οΈ so I think π€ that is where the mix-up happens. It's a section of the coast that is accessible to the public during low tide π. It's all πͺ¨ rocks with seaweed and periwinkles. Seagulls like to hang out here. People will walk out and explore. Some will look for tide pools and search π for green crabs and other sea life. I don't know if Foss Beach is named after the Foss family. They use to own Foss Manufacturing.
