Google Maps will take you close or hopefully to the small parking πŸ…ΏοΈ area along RT 1A. The Google reviews I have seen are accurate. The other non Google reviews about sand and being dog πŸ• friendly are incorrect. It's connected to Rye North Beach ⛱️ so I think πŸ€” that is where the mix-up happens. It's a section of the coast that is accessible to the public during low tide 🌊. It's all πŸͺ¨ rocks with seaweed and periwinkles. Seagulls like to hang out here. People will walk out and explore. Some will look for tide pools and search πŸ” for green crabs and other sea life. I don't know if Foss Beach is named after the Foss family. They use to own Foss Manufacturing. Foss and Tate Sotheby's International Reality is part of the same family. I hope the parking area will be repaved. I just looked at Foss Beach as a chance to walk as close as I could to an...

Between here and the state park though there is free parking along RT 1 with beach access. About a half mile south there is a nice beach behind the rocks -- though no sand...

Not a great beach for sunbathing but there is an excellent view of the ocean and Isles of Shoals. Not a bad place for a picnic on the rocks if you’ve stopped for food across the street at...
