Love the views from this park! Some days when on the NH coast & a sandy beach isn't what I want, this is my favorite spot. Great views in every direction! Boats moving in & out of the harbor on one side, interesting rocky beach on the opposite, & sprawling lawn in between. Walk out onto the breakwater & cast a line, or just watch & listen as the waves crash. Benches surround the green area with a few picnic tables scattered around. Perfect seating to soak it all in & enjoy the best lobster roll ever from Rye Harbor Lobster, located (literally) right across the harbor. Restroom pavilion with small covered picnic table area separate the (inexpensive) "pay & display" parking spots from the recreational areas. The best hour of therapy!..and only $2 an hour...

Late in the season visitors may enjoy what I mentioned previously. Great view of the...

As a nature photographer I frequent the coast often and I will never drive by this park; never know what you'll find hanging out...
