Frio River Cabana Park — Attraction in Sabinal

Buyer Beware! Does not look like the pictures and I’m not talking about the river! Check the site out before booking. I wish we had. Definitely not worth 150.00 for 8 hours. Table and chairs are cheap. Sites are not maintained. No one seems to be watching the cabanas because several people came through and camped at the open cabanas. We felt like suckers paying 150.00 because apparently you can use...

This place was good for our family of little kids and older adults. Lots of room to swim/float. It gets very deep at one end which was nice because a lot of the frio is dried up right now, (Sept2023). Only thing to be aware of there are very large rocks/boulders on the riverbed, maybe that fell off the mountain next to it making a few places tricky to maneuver if you are walking or swimming...

I was honestly a bit suspicious about a couples things…… but my family and I went there today, lots of fun really relaxing and quiet spot. A couple folks but everyone was extremely friendly.

The owner was really kind and helpful as to helping us find our spot and everything. I was told the river level was pretty low, but when we got there it was just perfect....
