Butler Beach — Attraction in Saint Augustine

Loving it! There are several vehicle ramps in the area, where you can drive onto the beach. Caution though: you'll need all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive due to the sift sand.

The beach isn't too crowded, and even less crowded on weekdays, as you can see in my photos. It's a great place to fly kites, sunbathe, play in the waves, fish, and more!

I can't believe this beach only has 5 reviews! It's a bit of a hidden gem. It's probably too far south for most people in St. Augustine but I'd argue it's worth the drive. It's fun to drive on the beach, there's free parking, it's not crowded and it's a good spot for both surfing and fishing. What's not to like?
