Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor — Attraction in Saint Augustine

We have a catamaran and were booked into this marina for one night 2 days before Thanksgiving . We had hoped to stay for 2 nights but they were fully booked and had no availability! The next morning we were getting ready to leave and our outboard (we only have one engine) decided to quit. As Thanksgiving was the next day (Thursday) all the engine repair businesses were closing for a long weekend! The earliest we could have it looked at was Monday! Inspite of being fully booked the marina went to great lengths to shuffle boats around and tuck us into the corner of their fuel dock. They were absolutely amazing! Everyone was very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to accomodate us! Thank you so much guys! The marina itself is within walking distance to the downtown (long walk) and has loner bikes and 2 vehicles! The facilities were great and it was a good place to be stuck! I highly, highly recommend...

We took a charter called the mistress with captain Scott and deck hand Austin. Id recommend these two and this charter to any one who has never fished before or for someone who knows all about fishing. We had so much fun and caught way more fish than we needed. Both crewmen are very knowledgeable and very entertaining. We were laughing so hard we couldn't care less about the 8ft bull shark swimming just underneath us trying to eat our catch or the high waves bouncing the ship around. We booked the charter for a 4 hour and ended up being out for 6 hours (no extra charge) because of a huge hammerhead we had on at the last minute and they told us we could stay and try to bring it in that they wouldn't make us cut the line... Two hours later.... We decided to let the monster go.. Hands down...

During the past 7 years since we've owned our boat, we have probably had about 15 contractors work on it for different issues, and I can honestly say that I have not had a better experience with a boat contractor than we had with Camachee Cove Yacht Yard. They really seemed to care about the quality of their work and about us and our boat, as well as worked very efficiently, which is often rare in the boat contractor world. I can't say enough good things about the team here at the Camachee Cove Yacht Yard. The marina is also a nice place to stay, with good staff, though the mouth of the harbor is a bit tricky in current, the fairways are narrow and the wifi is spotty as other...
