Decided to choose this place for Breakfast. Located in a front Harbor Strip, close to Kingfish Grill, the 'Odd Bird Cafe' is an excellent choice for Food, Coffee, desserts, & lunch.

We came in early morning on a Saturday, so barely many people were up and about at this time; except for the local boat owners and weekenders about to depart on their boats/yachts. Many people did grab to go which service provided fairly responsible return time once ordered. We sat down at the place to enjoy the breakfast options before we headed back to JAX.

The place is clean, the atmosphere was very pleasing and fitting for itself. Give a very unique downtown St. Augustine vibe that brings it that small store service feel & quality. The food and coffee options definitely follow inline too. The wife got the "Odd Bird Breakfast" (choice meat sliced Turkey). The breakfast was well prepared & the sliced turkey looked pretty damn good too. She was pleased naturally. I went with the Cuban Breakfast Sandwich called "Breakfast Cuban" and that sandwich was unbelievably good. Like, read the other reviews that people have left... It's a wonderful breakfast choice & I highly recommend it. I forgot picks of the orders that we did get so that one is on me.

Other offerings that the place had are different desserts, pastries, empanadas, and Cuban munchies that look handmade & locally priced well.

Plates and silverware (aka plastic fork, knife, spoon packet + plate) might possibly, one could say, was the only con/negative part of it all. I know some prefer stronger table utensils & plates, but it honestly didn't affect me one bit. Almost preferred it and maybe it's just a morning thing; I don't know but didn't care to ask. Eat'ja food. Wait staff....y'all were nice and chill. Thanks for the service.

Overall, if you have never tried this place I recommend you do. If you pass this place on or from work; stop in for a bite or grab something to go. ...

First day of my vacation and I was dying to try one of the local breakfast cafes St. Augustine had to offer! I was looking through google and the name was definitely eye catching so I set off on my first adventure! I ordered the Havana latte because who doesn't love chocolate and hazelnut coffee to start the day and it was absolutely decadent! Perfectly balanced coffee with just enough sweetness to cure my sugary cravings. And for my meal I had the Odd Birds breakfast with my choice of eggs fried over medium, bacon, home fries and cheesy grits. The eggs were cooked to perfection and the bacon nice and crisp. The grits were definitely the star of the show! My partner got the Quesadilla Odd Bird with a side of their fresh salsa which I had to try a bite of, and it was delicious! The cheese was warm and melted my heart, and the bacon, onions and peppers were perfect additions! I had an amazing experience with the attentive and kind staff, and the inside of the cafe had such a beautiful aesthetic. If I could I would give bonus stars for such a great time! Thank you so much...

This afternoon I made the drive from Jacksonville to St. Augustine to try the Famous Porc Boulangerie with homemade croissant, and it was life changing.

If you’re in the St. Augustine area you have to stop by and order this! The succulent pork was beyond flavorful and tender to perfection. I also enjoyed the ambience provided which definitely gives it more than a an ordinary cafe’ feel.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and my order was taken Immediately. I was provided a number and went outside to enjoy the warm summer (fall) breeze. My order was promptly brought out to me by the Head Chef and he stopped to answer questions about fresh bread with other patrons on his walk back inside.

During a recent interview Head Chef/Owner Sebastian states that they do not prepare desserts, but I am happy to say that has recently changed! There was beautiful hand crafted desserts inside that are just mouthwatering. I must try them all!

10 out of 10. Can’t wait to go back and try...

Cute little place, across the street from the Vilano public boat ramp. Closed Mondays. Open from 8am to 3 the rest of the week. They serve both lunch and breakfast, from 8am to 3pm. My bf and I checked it out for breakfast today. Walk up to the counter to order, they will bring to your table. My bf got the French Toast, which he said was really good! Freshly made to order and served with maple syrup on the side. Of course, I'm always looking for low carb or Keto options. I ordered the Criollo Breakfast. Unfortunately, they did not have the Chorizo, so at the suggestion of the girl taking our order, I got the pulled pork. The pork was a great choice as it was pull apart tender and delicately flavored with a hint of lemon (?). They were also not able to do the arepa. It was ok with me since I'm always going for low carb choices. They gave me a few corn tortillas instead which I gave to my grateful bf. Overall, a quick, cute place for a quick bite!
