Staff is polite. If you want to study, you need to go in the morning. Once the kids get out of school, it's a disaster. The study room walls are pretty thin, they let kids and teenagers run between study rooms, slamming doors. It's literally like trying to study in a booth at jungle gyms. I'm oblivious to why the staff allow it. Libraries are for peace and quite, others come into the rooms and talk on the phone, hang out and make a ton of noise. Read moreThis library is new and beautiful with computer stations, rooms for teens and a broad selection of books, magazines, videos etc. It is quieter and calmer during school hours and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s wonderful that this library can be a third space-an environment distinct from home or work/school-to gather and connect socially. The library really fosters a sense of community. I am surprised Nat Geo Wild hasnt run a story on the children of this library (loud asf, rowdy, etc.) I try not to judge the librarian for allowing this ruckus, because she might be deaf to some degree, (maybe even blind) to allow the stuff that goes on there. On a positive note, I think its important for kids to learn to study and focus in non-ideal environments like this...if you can focus here, you can focus anywhere...
