Decided to check this place out. I'm new to this side of town, so I'm trying to find new places to hike. From what I saw on a short visit, I was impressed. The main trail is paved and connects to other trailhead parking throughout the neighborhoods over here. You can take off from this point and reach O.P. Schnabel in 1.5 miles to make it 3 miles round trip for a good little workout. Great for walking, running, and biking. Trail is plenty wide to accommodate all without feeling like you are going to get run over. I personally like to go off the paved path wherever I go, and there are lots of little trails that shoot off of the paved path. There is lots of wildlife that doesn't seem to spook too easily, so you can take good pictures (birds, squirrels, and deer mostly). This will be a great place for a quick hike and to connect with nature that's close to home when I have...

The area offers multiple clean and spacious trails for walking, which is a definite plus. However, be cautious on the trails near the roads, as the traffic can get busy. The neighborhood itself is fairly calm and not too crowded. While I did notice some friendliness, the overall atmosphere didn’t feel particularly welcoming, though that could just be my personal experience.

If you're planning a walk, going solo or with a group might make you feel more comfortable. I didn’t see any restrooms, and while there are dogs present on these trails, I didn’t notice a playground or picnic area. The park is primarily focused on walking and cycling trails. Though the routes aren't particularly scenic, it's a great spot for getting a...

excellent trail for walkers, runners, cyclists, skaters...anyone. dog friendly. and I always feel safe when on the trails -- there are trail employees that ride the trail all day long and are there to help people out if needed. when it rains a ton, the trails do get flooded, but the waters recede fairly quickly. you totally feel like you're away from the city when you're on the trails, and there are a lot of trailheads to allow you entrance from all over the city. it's about 12.5 miles from the 1604 trailhead to ingram, and they've been building more on to...

We found this gem near our apartment and have made it a routine to walk the trails in the evening. Even during summer, this portion of the greenway isn’t bad because it’s mostly shaded. There is a low water crossing at the trailhead, so I imagine that it would be difficult to cross after a heavy rain. There are always lots of deer grazing at this spot as well. There is a Park Police station adjacent to the newly expanded parking lot. There is always plenty of parking and a port-a-potty in case you gotta go!

Pleasantly surprised because it’s 3 minutes from my HOME! My other son Travis found all these parks around me. I didn’t know they existed due to lack of signage (maybe a good thing) and tree cover. My dog Koda Bear loved this place and so will the rest of the pack. Remember to bring your doggie bag with wipes. The place is so natural and clean. Koda Bear loved seeing the deer run along with the squirrels. #tonyabrego #tonyandthedogs
