This park is beautiful! Lovely cascading brooks along dense beautiful Oak, Sycamore Eucalyptus, Cypress, & other Native Beauties! Playground area for the kids is stunning, littered with backdrops of Autumnal Maroons along the Sulfur Mountain (along the east Hwy 33). Lush green trails grant walkers & horseback riders access to the Ojai Valley Trail! & don't forget to check out Foster Bowl, which is located just North past the park on the left hand side along west Mountain! Foster park is a site to see!

A series of beautiful green hill ranges serve as the backdrop for this picturesque park. The Ventura River flows through the park, which lends to the beautiful landscape of lush green vegetation that thrives among the adult shade trees. There is a separate Day Use area and two different campgrounds to choose from, Residence Campground and Red Mountain Campground. The Ojai Valley Trail (equestrian, bike, and walking) runs through the park.

Great place is you wanna be creeped the fug out. I went by myself at night and got some seriously bad vibes everytime I've gone. Maybe bring a friend or two. I'm a paranormal skeptic but this place made me question things and I don't ever get creeped out. I'm actually not sure how I went by myself at at night and stayed for about 40 minutes because this place seems to have a menacing vibe. I'm not sure what happened but I was sitting on the steps to see if anything paranormal happened and I got chills from my toes to my head which had never happened to me before for any reason. There was nothing in particular that creeped me out prior so I don't know what happened with that but I took that as a sign to get the hell out of there. This is foster park bowl to be clear. There is a lot more of the park area...

Echoing another's post, the traffic noise is bothersome. But it is mostly confined to morning traffic (close your windows and it is hardly noticeable). Ant infestation was a real bother - enough so that I will not return. My site (#3) was without shade most of the day while the temperatures were high. The word - ambiance - should never be used to describe this place because it is blank. There wasn't any possible "community" as I've enjoyed in other RV parks. Camp hosts - although helpfull when available - were not easily available. All camp site utilities worked as expected. I did not use the camp's bathroom facilities so no opinion there. Will NOT stay at this...

I give it a 3 because it is so small! I loved all the trees and the fact that there was space between the campgrounds but it may be had 20 spots? It definitely was very fine dirt and my dog was a mess but that comes with camping. The campground host was rude as heck and I would not go back just to not have to deal with him! I seriously don't need somebody telling me I need to turn off my very low radio in 20 minutes before the quiet hour, 9 pm! Other people were raging and we just sat there with a little teeny speaker but you decided to pick on us. Who knows, maybe he just doesn't like brown people? Don't care...
