Crestview Park — Attraction in San Carlos

Great park with play area for kiddies, full basketball court and solid surface for other sports, plus soccer field. Water fountains as well. Note that the bleachers are not used for parents during soccer, but rather the teams. Nice west views. Park was renovated last year and would have been better with artificial turf as soccer field, as drought is slowly killing field. We came here for a ridiculously early and meaningless soccer game on Saturday. It’s over an hours drive to get here but the sting of leaving our house so early was getting to this beautiful park. The grass is flat, well maintained and the entire park is absolutely amazing with views and trees. Even the bathrooms are great. Excellent park for kids! I was told by the regulars that the wind picks up in the spring (the way the ravine captures the wind and funnels it into Crestview) but that just might be the only drawback.
