On July 18, 2023 we went up 7 elevator floors to see a house hanging over the edge of the Engineering building at UCSD. Do Ho Suh's Fallen Star did not disappoint. It was closed during our visit, but I am told Tuesday and Thursday are for visiting, at least in a former life. Like everything at UCSD, it seems under construction. Plenty of parking for visitors at Hopkins parking garage for under $3. A hiking loop can be found to include the Snake Path sidewalk and Geisel library which features Dr. Suess items of interest, starting with Fallen Star.
