This was my second time hiking Kwaay Paay. Loved it of course. We arrived around 6:30am and left around 8:30-9am . When we arrived it was perfect, sun was barely peaking out. I recommend arriving as early as possible to beat the heat. Definitely don't want to get caught hiking this trail in the sun. Take plenty of water, wear a cap that protects your face and ears from the sun. I recommend hiking boots. Wearing regular walking shoes will put you at risk of twisting an ankle. There are lots of rocks on this trail and it is uneven. I will say that towards the last stretch, you will be hiking up a steep set of stairs. Push yourself...

Also, we parked in the lot, not through the large gates, because they get locked early around 5pm maybe the earliest. Donāt get trapped inside!
