In a way it is sort of like the present is always honoring the past, while the past watches down on the present like angels.

As the cemetery continues to expand, it is growing into a place that will serve generations to come, all while staying conveniently close to the freeway, a gas station, and the nearby Marine base. This makes it accessible for both locals and visitors, further emphasizing its commitment to serving the community and honoring the sacrifices of veterans.

I have nothing but positive remarks for the Staff and beautiful cemetery.

I understand the strict time crunch, but people have to understand that if just one funeral runs late, it disrupts the flow and adequate timing for not only the service they are attending, but also the other services to follow. People just need to be more respectful to be on time.. better yet… arrive 30 minutes, no more or no less in the designated auto holding lane to show respect to the grieving family and dedicated Staff who help to ensure a peaceful memorial service is instilled.

I chose Miramar National Cemetery after looking at several others. The setting and the cemetery itself was impressive. From the first contact with the administrators through the interment, I felt completely supported and that they truly cared about the family and loved ones. Everything that I asked to be included was carried out with dignity and honor. The bugler and Air Force color guard were impressive. The administrator who guided us through the service explained everything and welcomed our participation. We couldn't have had a better experience. We were deeply touched.
