The Tiger trail exhibit at the SD Safari park is very good, probably the best tiger exhibit around. It was warm this last time (July) so the tigers were sleeping. One was sleeping right next to the glass and everyone seemed to enjoy getting a chance to see this tiger up close. I've been to this exhibit before and seen a tiger looking intently at the glass slowly walking towards us. Slightly unnerving. Read moreSadly, I came to this area after it got dark outside. You cannot see a thing, literally. There are NO LIGHTS on the pathway here, except some coloful lights, but they are only pointed at the trees and dont help you see your own feet in front of you. Also, you cannot see any tigers or other animals...it is almost pitch black over here at nighttime. I do not recommend. I literally hit my head on a low-hanging tree branch walking on this path because i could not see....
