I had a blast yesterday at the farm. Met very cool peeps & staff. I volunteered. Heading back next week - I love getting dirty & working with the Earth - Cleaning - Planting. More people should get INVOLVED. It is so REWARDING to play a part in PROVIDING LOCALLY GROWN & HARVESTED FOOD FOR PEOPLE WHO MAY OTHERWISE NOT HAVE THESE VALUABLE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO THEM.
I TRY TO ABIDE BY THE PHRASE "IT TAKES A VILLAGE" - TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE & EVERY CONTRIBUTION HELPS! NO MATTER HOW GREAT OR SMALL IT MAY SEEM.

I got the opportunity to pick out weeds from pepper plant beds which was a new experience for me. Would recommend volunteering here to contribute your part to the community and you get to take home free vegetables at the end of the work shift.
