Alemany Farm — Attraction in San Francisco

I had a blast yesterday at the farm. Met very cool peeps & staff. I volunteered. Heading back next week - I love getting dirty & working with the Earth - Cleaning - Planting. More people should get INVOLVED. It is so REWARDING to play a part in PROVIDING LOCALLY GROWN & HARVESTED FOOD FOR PEOPLE WHO MAY OTHERWISE NOT HAVE THESE VALUABLE RESOURCES AVAILABLE TO THEM.

I TRY TO ABIDE BY THE PHRASE "IT TAKES A VILLAGE" - TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE & EVERY CONTRIBUTION HELPS! NO MATTER HOW GREAT OR SMALL IT MAY SEEM.

Volunteered at the farm and got the opportunity to work with fellow people who are into gardening. I got the opportunity to pick out weeds from pepper plant beds which was a new experience for me. Would recommend volunteering here to contribute your part to the community and you get to take home free vegetables at the end of the work shift. Place is run by well dedicated people willing to help you at any stage of your learning process. They provide gloves and other equipment to work...

This place is amazing and unique. It offers voulunteering opportunities for people to work in the farm and know more about where their food comes from. It also provides produce from the farm to local non-profits and contributes back to the society. The vibe is very positive and the volunteers are very knowledgeable.
