First Stop of My West Coast Road Trip - San Francisco Travel Guide. A city that feels like you're in Inception. #Travel #TravelWithRedBook #USATravel #TravelPhotos #DailyOutfit #CasualWear #RedBookFashion #TravelFashionTips #RoadTrip #Tourism #USA Regarding the route along the West Coast of the USA, local weather, hotels, the process of renting a car, and the must-see sights along the way, I will compile a more detailed road trip guide post later. Today, I'll share the beauty of the first stop of my journey - San Francisco. San Francisco is often said to be a city full of freedom and inclusiveness. Perhaps it's the allure of its multiculturalism, or the lifestyle depicted in famous movies. My first impression of it was the Inception-like streets and the warm sunlight tinged with the salty scent of the sea. 💋16/05/2018 San Francisco Day 1 Itinerary💋 Fisherman's Wharf → Golden Gate Bridge → Lands End → Cliff House → Twin Peaks 👉Fisherman's Wharf I booked my hotel near Fisherman's Wharf. Seagulls soared overhead, and sea lions lounged on floating wooden boards near the shore. Ordering a large portion of specialty seafood, I sat by the window, enjoying the view of the wharf, filled with the scent of the sea. 👉Golden Gate Bridge The drive from Fisherman's Wharf to the Golden Gate Bridge is filled with beautiful scenery. San Francisco is windy, and the Golden Gate Bridge is even windier. The bridge is also worth visiting at night. 👉Lands End Someone arranged stones into a maze pattern, which was discovered by netizens and became a must-visit spot for young people. From the maze, you can see the Golden Gate Bridge in the distance and the sunset on the other side. 👉Cliff House The best place to watch the sunset, with the sea and sky gradually turning into a soft orange. 👉Twin Peaks Driving up the winding road to the top of Twin Peaks to enjoy the night view of San Francisco. May nights in San Francisco are chilly, and the wind is strong, so many people stayed in their cars. 💋17/05/2018 San Francisco Day 2 Itinerary💋 Union Square → Alamo Square → Haight-Ashbury → Palace of Fine Arts → Lombard Street 👉Union Square Union Square is a perfect place for locals to relax and soak up the sun. A five-minute walk from the square, there's a popular bubble tea shop called Boba Guys, worth trying. 👉Alamo Square These six houses survived the great earthquake in the West many years ago, making this place a famous attraction. Each house has the same design but different colors. 👉Haight-Ashbury A friend told me that San Francisco is a city with attitude, which is why young people who love street culture are so drawn to it. 👉Palace of Fine Arts Located near the Golden Gate Bridge but in a quiet area, the circular stone structure is grand and magnificent, seemingly telling the meaning of the architecture and some Western civilization. 👉Lombard Street Famous for its continuous curves. The middle is filled with blooming flowers, and the downhill drive around the curves is particularly harmonious. The blooming season is from May to July, so it's recommended to visit during this period. 👯👯👯 The bustling Fisherman's Wharf, the Golden Gate Bridge destroyed countless times in movies, the ding-ding sound of the tram passing by, the golden glow of the Pacific at sunset, the coastline visible after driving down the next steep slope - these are all reasons why I love San Francisco.

This is a beautiful place to view the Bay area regardless of the area being home to, many of the city's unhoused RV and residentially used vehicles. You may be a bit surprised or even feel like you are possibly in danger when taken aback by the sheer volume of unhoused individuals parked in the area but so long as you follow common sense safety precautions you are no more at risk of being a victim of crime than anywhere else in the City by the Bay. For example, only visit during daylight hours, don't bring valuables or leave valuables in your vehicle, lock your vehicle, for extra layer you could always attach a note to your inside car window stating (no valuables in vehicle), carry a phone with enough charge for your stay so if you need to phone emergency services you can, be kind to people but don't allow people to get you to follow them, have a buddy with you and politely reject any suspicious individuals who wish to spark up a conversation or sell you something, also let friends/family know where you and your buddy will be hiking and don't stray from that path. If at anytime you feel unsafe, begin making your way to the closest populated area while on the phone with police. Don't give strangers a ride. If you are approached by a person panhandling it is usually better to politely decline as donating to any organization is typically the better way to use your funds to help. This area of the city is in need of attention not only from city officials but also by people supporting the economy of small businesses nearby and supporters of public spaces utilizing them as this area is underutilized by the general population. If you feel a person is in need of help that is currently experiencing homelessness or a mental health crisis it's best to call SF's 311 line rather than the police as law enforcement are not trained in interventions of this sort and the right professional will be dispatched through 311. Remember that there are no water fountains so bring your own water and pack in/pack out any trash as not to add to any waste...

Today, it was beautiful, green with yellow wildflowers. Hawks, egrets, buffleheads, squirrels and birds. A few people here and there enjoying the day. It was peaceful. The access is closed off on both ends of the road leading around the Candlestick Park stadium area because of the homeless encampments that grew out of control. The encampments have been removed I saw today but here and there are noticeable artifacts left behind, a few carpets, glass, some odds and ends by the road, but not much. So you will need to park in the parking lot across from the newer condos close to 101 and walk in. It looks like there was a bit of vandalism over the last year or so and the restrooms are not open. Some of the small bridges are falling apart and in need of repair. There was a port-o-let though at the end by the fishing pier. So it is a little spooky as its desolate. But its a stunning area and I'm sure the Hunters Point folks are looking forward to it being revitalized and they can once again enjoy their park. Its a shame its in such a state, I am sure the residents in the area really had to push to get it developed in the first place to the beautiful open space it is and to see it falling apart was sad. But regardless of this brief moment of disrepair, its really something. And in a way, the fact that you can't drive into it makes it remarkable because its sort of wild and remote and clean inside. Hundreds of bulbs have been planted and work on the fallen trees from this last storm are being removed. Though the area where the stadium was is a total eyesore, as are the barriers, its easy to be turned off to it but really I highly recommend a visit or a short walk. The park is beautiful, the views are amazing. You really...

Well the picnic event I went to was a birthday party for a famous drummer chapito from the group Santana that part was awesome far as the park goes it's a little difficult to get to on the weekends as there's a park before you get there where people Park on both sides of the street in the middle of the road kind of like a street party for a ball field. That has nothing to do with the spark of course but once you get to the park it looks like it's closed it's at the end of a closed Road when you pull in there's barriers the grass is burned it is on the shore there are picnic tables and amenities but the bathrooms are closed I have a nasty porta potty the ranger drives around the whole time and his truck on the shore and lets everyone know that the gates close at 5:00 so right about the time your party is starting to really have a good time you get told you have to leave or your vehicle will be locked inside. My tip is to park outside the gate that way when they lock the gates you don't have to leave they don't kick people out of the park they just...
