Hellyer County Park Playground & Water Spray Pad — Attraction in San Jose

Great place to bring the kiddos for an afternoon outing. My son was so excited to run around the playground. As a parent I was very happy to see the gated perimeter at the playground. The grounds and water park are very clean and restrooms are near by. My son at first was weary of the water fountains. Before you knew it he was off enjoying the water. I love this park! We come almost every day! We walk around the little pond and see ducks, geese, turtles, fish, and turkey vultures sometimes. Then we go hang out at the playground, they have an area for babies and a larger kid area. They also have a splash pad that my kids love. The park is practically spotless and you can see the rangers cleaning there every morning. They have movie nights in the summer, and tons of picnic tables....

This would be a really cool park, except that they charged $7 for entry, and much of the park was shutdown or "Caution taped" off. It would have been a great park had it been up-and-running, or if they had warned that the park was in an unusable state prior to...
