Rainbow Park — Attraction in San Jose

Rainbow park is a place for large gatherings . Social distancing could easily be implemented here. The park can host several groups at once. The facilities for barbecues are set far apart and so is the seating for eating in these areas. Providing for social distancing. Bathrooms are accessible for wheelchairs . The park has Plenty of sunny terrain, large groomed grass areas. The smaller (for now) redwood trees provide a respite from the sun. Some of the cement picnic benches are shaded. A smooth hardscaped walk- roll way through the length of the park facilitates, rollerblades & bicycles, (when not busy ) and of course strollers, and wheel chairs. Trees provide shade ...

Rainbow colors were cute, but the park itself was a little lacking. 2 play areas with little variety. 5yr+ could enjoy the many monkey bars, and kids under 2 would enjoy the smaller playground. Very few slides. Trash cans were overflowing and lots of cobwebs, this park clearly hasn't been played on much lately.

Nice park with lots of grass area. Great for family gatherings, birthday parties and just getting the kiddos out. Trees around provide some good shade with a breeze. Been there twice to celebrate family reunions. Bathroom was stocked with toilet covers and toilet paper. My kiddos had a blast. Would Def go back if in the area. Nice play area for older and...
