This park is located next to Murdock Portal Elementary School. There are a lot of great things about it but due to standing water (seems like they over water the area) there were a lot of mosquitoes. That's why I took off a star. Otherwise we enjoyed this park. There is not a designated parking lot but there is quite a bit of street parking available. There are two main jungle gym structures (one for ages 2-5 and one for ages 5-12) with slides, monkey bars, and fun things to climb on. There are both toddler and child swings as well as a small sand pit. There is a very nice set of covered picnic benches that can be reserved for events. The park also has grills available. There is a public bathroom nearby. If you follow the sidewalk down you will come across another large play structure with tall slides, bridges, and monkey bars. There are more regular swings and some spinning seats as well. If you continue down the sidewalk there are tennis courts too. Aside from fending off bugs it was a nice place to play.

Park is nice a secluded from heavy traffic and noise. Big open space for big games. Three playground areas (toddler, kids, bigger kids area). Nice walkways around the park. Big shaded picnic areaas seen in my photos. Spots with separate picnic tables. There is a school next to the connected to the park where there is another play structure and basketball courts. There is also a walking/ biking trail right near Lawrence accessible from the park. Great way to spend a early evening.

Tennis courts, and a huge wall for single practice or handball games.

Definitely check out this park. Kids won't...

A relative big park in the living area giving everyone the space to play openly, shades are not a rare thing. There's two parts of picnic table having area for BBG (one for whole animal), and playgrounds for children. Tennis courts are great; 4 courts and 4 walls for practice with friendly tennis community. The elementary school by the park gives it life during the semester, although there's a highway nearby, the pine trail plays a good role...
