ReelTime Sight & Sound — Attraction in San Juan Capistrano

I really cannot evaluate their technical service as they never showed up at my house for the prearranged appointment. I made an appointment 10 days prior for the next Friday appointment, my day off and it was scheduled from 9 to 10 am. When no one showed up and no phone call by 10 am I called Reel Time. I was told that the technician was on the way and should be there shortly. When no one showed up by 11:30 am I called again and spoke with Jason who then gave me a song and dance about a time window and he is delayed at another job. Again there was no phone call or apology for the inconvenience. I said I know the time window was 9-10. He said he should be there within the hour. At 1:30 pm, 4 and half hours after the appointment time, I call again and am told he was at my house and left a note on the door at 9:30. That is impossible as my door was open and my dog was there and would have let me know if anyone was there. There was of course no note on the door. When I told the this to the guy on the phone, did not get his name as I was quite miffed at this point, he said yea we went to another address with someone with your last name. The whole thing is absolute nonsense. They screwed up big time and could not straighten this out after 3 phone calls. Again not once was an apology offered for this amazing inconvenience. If this is how they handle appointments and customers, I cannot imagine trusting them to do any actual work. My advice is look elsewhere for audio...

The overall experience was outstanding. The buying experience with Jason was excellent, with the showroom and in-home consultations very helpful. Our input was factored into the component selection in a positive manner. The installation with Jose and Sergio and Kevin also met (high) expectations. The cabinet work by Andreas exceeded our expectations for quality and matching. The finished product looks like it was always part of the original cabinetry.

There were a few issues, and the way those were handled is the basis for the 5 stars rating.The follow-up was quick and the corrections were fully implemented.
