Let me start off by saying my husband and I go to the coach House often, we have seen some great shows. Saturday, September 6, 2025. We did a spur of the moment, buy some tickets to see Devon Allman. Almond Brothers are one of many favorites for my hubby. I went along for the ride lol. I knew nothing of him. All I knew, he’s the son of the late, great! Greg Allman. Let me say!!This was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen at the coach house. I wish I can remember all the names. The opening act was a young lady very bayou southern, Who was a one Man band. She had that sultry, Bluey, rockabilly style. Great opener for what was yet to come. Then, Devon Allman and his fantastic band started to play. All I can say is WOW. 🤯 They were all so amazing, at one point there were 11 people on stage, calling in fellow musicians Who has played with the best of the best. I can’t begin to tell you how interactive, entertaining they all are. Devon’s voice is amazing as well as all the other appearances. Such talent, All on one stage. Everyone absolutely loved what they do and it showed. Again, Can’t recall all the names. There was a black gentleman who can play and sing like nobody’s business. The new B.B. King. He sang my favorite song, soul shine.. There’s a black lady Who has the voice of an angel, When she sang, you felt it. All I can say is…if you have the opportunity to see Devon Allman.. Don’t miss it! If you weren’t a fan, you will become one. My husband and I have been to many concerts, and have paid a lot of money for some big named bands. I tell you, you can’t beat the coach House for the best intimate seating. Hoping they bring some more big names in. Hats off to the coach house for the many years of bringing great talents to our city. I have to add in… with a full house, you get great service, can be a little pricey, But we enjoy their steak dinner 😋 My cocktails were pretty good too 🥴 let’s see if I can add some clips

Came here to see Todd Rundgren in one of his "Unpredictable" performances with bandmates Kasim Sulton, Prairie Prince, Greg Hawkes, & Jesse Gress. Made dinner reservation to sit closer, and I was not disappointed with the location! The show was great (definitely unpredictable in terms of some of the cover songs!), & I took a lot of pix on my phone. (They have many signs saying no photos, but it is not enforced.) The food was better than what I've had at some other dinner+concert locations, but it wasn't overly exciting. The price of the food wasn't outrageous. I ordered a veggie plate (cooked) and, although not terribly interesting in the selection (green beans, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, & mushrooms), it was so large that I took home leftovers! It, like all entrees there, came with a choice of rice or baked potato. I'm glad there was a non-animal entree available. A couple sitting nearby enjoyed their steak meal. I stopped eating my veggies earlier than I might have, so I could later have dessert. I chose the chocolate cake with ice cream, which was delivered with 2 utensils, perhaps because they knew it was on the large side for one person. So I ate most of it and allowed one of my newly-made friends to have the rest. (Dessert is one of the attached photos.) One thing that the Coach House staff did that was *really cool* was to seat me with two other women of similar age range who came solo. One had flown in from Nebraska, and the other lives nearby. The three of us bonded quickly and traded contact information. So, thanks to the Coach House, I have 2 new friends!

First, tickets for the entertainment were priced very fair. We appreciate that. And the show was great (Journeyman: Eric Clapton Review), opening act was okay. Our server, Jaime, was super friendly and patient with all our questions as first-timers. The venue is a nice intimate size but pretty outdated. Dark paneled walls. Seating is banquet style, with the exception of a few private booths or rooms up above. The rooms look pretty janky. It’s assigned seating, so you are sitting tightly next to strangers at a very narrow table. Which means your food and drinks aren’t safe from anyone’s saliva or worse flying into your plate or glass. And there is a drink/food minimum. After paying for a $16 glass of wine instead of a $40 bottle, we were charged five dollars for a bottle of water, when are we wanted was a glass of water with a straw. Food was pretty pricey and extremely average. 2 chicken dinner plates, nacho appetizer, 1 glass of wine, 1 bottle of water, 1 iced tea, & 1 dessert, totaled $138 before tip. The cost wouldn’t have been so bad if the food was higher quality. Seemed to be mostly patronized by regulars/locals. There’s nothing wrong with that but the staff did not give off the vibe that they really cared if you were there or not. With the exception of our server. I probably wouldn’t go back, unless it was for a super special artist/show.

Saw the band Y&T for the nth time in my life and it was just as amazing as the first. Dave is 70 years old and sounds as good as he did in 1980.

The coach house was completely sold out and packed but everybody was polite exuberant and well behaved. It was a really great experience. Do bear in mind that one bottle of beer will cost you $10. Sign of the times I guess, but no more gouging than any other music venue and I really want to support local venues like this more than I do stadiums. I saw other people who got cheese sticks for $20 and other larger ticket items but again you pay a little bit more but you get excellent service the entire staff was on point. And the audio quality at the Coach House is exceptional.

The opening band, hIPNOSTIC, was really great and had tons of great energy. Very fun and very talented three piece that I remember from various incarnations of each members past lives. Just a very fun band with some great tunes.

While Dave is the only remaining living member of the original lineup of Y&T, the other band members have been with him for 8, 18, and 21 years. They are very well-oiled machine and seeing this band is always a treat.

There's never any issues parking at the Coach House, though I did take an Uber from where I was staying in San Clemente, but there was no issue even at midnight getting a ride back. All in all I can do nothing but highly recommend the Coach House as I've done for 30 years. If you have a chance to see a show here, bring your wallet, for sure, but you will have...
