The artwork was a lot of fun to look at. I think the only "complaint" I have is that EVERYTHING is for sale, and they don't hide that fact. It'd be nice to see items that were donated to the park just for their artistic accomplishments, vs. trying to sell them. Also, some of the prices are a little steep compared to something you could make on your own or have commissioned at other locations for much less (mostly thinking of the benches that were for "sale"). All-in-all, it was fun to walk through and check out the different pieces, I just feel like the commercialism of those pieces was a little too much, I guess? Keep in mind that this is a free place to visit, however, they do request a donation. I did donate for our entire party, but not until afterwards when I saw how much the family enjoyed it. One thing I really liked, they are VERY dog friendly and even have a watering station setup next to their restrooms. If you bring your doggo, please make sure to bring some bags with you, I gladly gave a couple of bags to those that forgot...
Read moreWe had some down time on the Island after our kayak tour, since our seaplane didn't depart for another 4 hrs. So some lunch and then walking the fullness off... sounds perfect, but where to go besides the Harbor docks?

Walk on over to the Sculpture Park and spend a couple hours there, easy. What a treat, lots of space to wander, imagine, find solitude in the back area, maybe even take a nap among the birds chirping, breathe in the aromatic fragrances that surround you? The landscaping is wonderful, and cared for with love, no doubt. Some really cool artwork that will have you asking yourself, what was the intention of the artist's expression. You may never know...and so what? Take some solo time to ponder the works, it'll be good for you. Oh, and please remember to leave your 5 $ donation and then go tell a friend about how cool you...

If you’re looking for a great place to unwind and relax, this will be your jam! I was actually surprised just how many art pieces there were and just how long the walk was. By no means do you need to see the whole place, but if you do, you’ll get a fantastic little workout in.
I’m not a poetry guy, but loved all the little poems displayed from local residents. Especially all the ones from school-aged children. Some really good work here and I couldn’t stop reading!
Parking and entry are free, however a $5 donation is recommended and I would say the time you will spend here will be worth far more...
