Love going to this pool! Super clean and lots of space to sit and lounge and for swimming. I have gone to a few of the local community pools and have to say this is my favorite. Everyone is so nice and friendly and the facilities and pool are always super clean! Fridays are fun when they have the inflatable obstacle course that my daughter always enjoys. The lifeguards there are all very nice and friendly, too! And they are all respectful and do a great job! Although the water slide is currently closed for repairs this season, we are happy to still be able to use the pool. They have the most space for recreational swimming compared to the other community pools I have been to, in my opinion. You can swim freely without having to dodge people every few feet. Other families that come to enjoy this pool have all been nice and friendly, too! My daughter had made friends every time we have gone and the first time she went on the inflatable obstacle course, the kids even cheered her on to help her overcome being a little nervous. She will never forget that moment when they cheered her on 😊 not only is this pool closer to where we live, we also don’t have to question if the sun is out or not, because it’s more inland compared to the other pools, and usually tend to be overcast more...

This place reminds me of home... The environment is friendly, the staff is great, the quality is top notch. But you know what my home has that this fine establishment doesn't? A dank salad bar. My home has a top of the line, state of the art, fully automated salad bar. This being said, any place of gathering that does not have a salad bar is a disgrace. The people NEED salad to survive. Tortoises are able to survive as long as 250 possible years, while humans only survive a mere 70 years. This is all because of one thing... The natural occurrence of SALAD BARS. Studies have shown that there is a direct correlation between frequency of establishments with salad bars, and heart-happy customers. Because of this, I have taken it upon myself to only give this establishment a meager 4 out of 5 rating. Had they had a dank salad bar, I would have most certainly granted this establishment a whopping 5 out of 5. Good...

I feel as if this pool is everything that our family needed! Only four stars because there was no salad bar. There are vending machines there, but no salad bar. I wish there was a salad bar there so that all of the family fun hi jinx could be fueled by whole and hearty vegetables! I know personally, that when I bask in the rays of a public pool, I want some nice crunchy carrot sticks to nibble on and maybe some of those miniature tomatoes. I like those ones because biting into a whole tomato hurts my jaw. Everyone knows this facility as the best place to go when you can't afford a waterpark here in San Marcos, but I bet, if it had a salad bar, that the area would be known all across San Diego county. High class is defined by food options, and a nice, fresh, crisp salad bar would be the...

A gorgeous park with many many picnic tables and each of them hat shade! The pond was beautiful with many benches around it to sit and enjoy. It has many different parking lots so that wouldn’t be an issue. It’s large enough to play sports and has a great playground too! An ice cream truck drives by often so if you ever want a snack, you’re set! There’s also a pool but I am not sure if it’s public due to it not being open during the pandemic. The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is that other than the pond, it doesn’t have anything that sets it apart and it’s also on two busy streets which can be nerve wracking for parents.
