I recently had an unfortunate experience here and I felt compelled to share it so others can be informed. From the moment I walked in, the service left much to be desired.

First, when I originally placed my catering order, the employee clearly stated which dishes and sides were going to be included. However, when it came time to pick up my order, an employee by the name of Lily said that my order would not come with certain sides and then accused her staff of providing misinformation. When I politely asked that my order include all of the sides that were promised to me, Lily was not only rude but seemed annoyed that I even asked.

Things went downhill from there. After I noticed the total bill did not match the prices listed on the catering menu, I pointed this out. Instead of an apology or an attempt to rectify the situation, Lily begrudgingly deducted $2.00 from the total bill. To make matters worse, the way this was handled felt insulting rather than accommodating.

I was then asked if I needed more bread and unsurprisingly, a “yes” answer seemed to trigger Lily some more. It was as if I was an inconvenience rather than a valued customer.

I've always believed that good service makes a meal memorable, but this experience was quite the opposite. It's not just about the food; it's about the respect that should come...

I ordered hummus and chicken shawarma from your menu, and unfortunately, the experience did not meet my expectations. Firstly, the order took an excessive amount of time to arrive, which was quite inconvenient. When the food finally arrived, I was disappointed by its quality. The chicken shawarma tasted old and lacked freshness, and the flavor was unremarkable. The hummus also failed to meet the standard I anticipated, as the taste seemed bland and uninspired, offering little beyond a general sense of mediocrity. I was genuinely looking forward to enjoying a delicious meal, given the reputation of your cuisine, and I was surprised by this experience. I believe that food quality and timely service are essential aspects of any dining experience, and I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve these areas moving forward. I recently visited Mr. Shawarma’s new San Marcos location during their soft opening, and every bite was a delight! I sampled the chicken shawarma, the double trouble shawarma, the irresistible Mr. Shawarma fries, and the standout Shawarma rice plate—the very dish featured in the picture. The chicken shawarma was tender and perfectly spiced, while the double trouble shawarma delivered an exciting burst of flavor with every bite. The fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection, making them the ideal complement to the meal. The Shawarma rice plate, with its fluffy rice and generous, flavorful portions of shawarma, truly impressed me.
