My daughter loves playing at this park. It is a beautiful park that is well kept with the central feature being a spring fed dammed pond. Ducks and geese call the pond their year-round home. Catch and release fishing and dock you can fish from. That is, if you somehow visit when children and adults from all parts of Texas are not jumping from the dock and swimming . Read moreAdorable little park with great views, ducks that are very friendly and fun to feed and a small beach area. It is a great road side stop of you are road tripping or a day trip to get away for a few hours. Costs nothing to go to the beach area, no lifeguard so swim at your own risk. Sandy "beach", picnic area, a dock to jump off of, ducks to feed and a path to walk along. This park has a pool that is open during the summer, just not sure of the cost. It is also lit up festively for the holidays. Very cute little place. Kids think it is part of our "vacation" every time we drive...
