My family loves this park. The toys are a lot of fun for all ages, there is a great shade canopy over the big toy. Mature trees provide excellent shade for picnic blankets and there are numerous picnic tables in the grass or under the picnic shelter. The extensive sidewalks are so nice for a variety of wheeled vehicles and there is a great dirt pump track next to the play structure. There are bathroom facilities next to the play area, as well as baseball fields, tennis courts, and skate park. Unfortunately I was just informed that instead of adding more play structures and a splash pad as I had recently heard, I have learned that the play area, along with so many beautiful mature trees will be removed so a tennis facility can be built here. The mature trees are one of the biggest reasons we come to this park, as well as the beautiful views of the nearby mountains. I can’t believe the city has approved plans to destroy the attributes of this wonderful area, especially by adding a building to disrupt the views and put our kids out of a wonderful play place. Any additional information is appreciated.

We love this park. Nice playground, shade trees, picnic pavilion. Walking path for waking, running, in-line skating, or the kids' bikes. Skateboard park, tennis, baseball/softball diamonds, soccer fields. Plenty of open space to fly kites. UPDATE 2024--Shaded playground is gone. Picnic shelter that was next to the shaded playground and very popular for birthday parties is gone. The City of Sandpoint decided to erect a gigantic indoor pickleball facility right in the middle of what used to be a beautiful outdoor space.

Nice park with all the amenities: baseball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, skatepark, park, picnic area, grill area, restroom, bmx dirt track. Nice place to enjoy alone or with a large group. Beautiful view of Mt Baldy in the distance.

This is truly a great park! Two baseball fields, large open fields, a small dirt bike track, tennis courts, skate park (skate boards, roller blades etc.), public restrooms (real toilets!), very large play ground areas, swings, a hill for rolling down! A paved side walk that lines the entire perimeter of the park, total walk is one mile I believe, there is also 2 large covered gazebos with lots of picnic tables, you are able to have parties there ANY time it's open! No need for making reservation. If it's empty, it's yours! Also has barbeque stations! (Bring your own charcoal!) I really love this park. You can walk your dogs along the perimeter side walk, but not into the park areas. Around one side of the park there is an entry to a small court yard park (called Bicentennial park) with trees and benches, you get there by crossing a cool wooden bridge from the side walk! There's also a small wooden platform sitting over a swampy area, for just relaxing. It's a great...

This is a very fun park with lots of things to do. There is a walking and biking trail thats very smooth for even skateboards. There are tennis courts and picnic tables and lots of places to sit. The playground has slides, big and small, and swings, monkey bars, and fun things to spin on, and the ground is small wood chips. Kids of all ages can go here to have fun. Even the parents can take a stroll and still watch their small children. There is a field to play soccer or football. "The concrete lake" is a skate park that is also included. There is ample parking and has wheelchair accessible parking that is by the sidewalk. There is also a public wheelchair...
