Ridgeview Park — Attraction in Sandy Springs

This is a lovely, family park with walking trail that has a bridge crossing a stream. A gated community garden, with a huge playground in several different sections...a play fort, swings, seesaw & large jungle gym and it is equipped for a child with special needs. A covered pavilion with grills and adult style front porch swings. Several dogs were on leashes being walked. Every town should have a park like this. It was clean and there was no graffiti in the area. Very well maintained. A wonderful place to take the whole family or go for a walk during lunch. A lot of "bang for the buck". There is a decent outdoor gym setup, a mid sized field, a pavilion and spread out picnic tables in good condition. We were here volunteering and picking up trash with Watershed Alliance of Sandy Springs and Leadership of Sandy Springs as a group from Northside Hospital and various other groups. WASS and LSS do a wonderful job organizing volunteers and keeping this park and multiple other places clean...
