The first mile is a steep climbâabout 730 feet of elevation gain right out of the gate. Itâs a serious leg and cardio workout. After that, the trail levels out and gets much easier, though the descent is still fairly steep. The view of Mt. Hood at the top is a nice reward. Trail was clear, dry, and well maintained.
