Duane R Harte Park — Attraction in Santa Clarita

It's a park, folks. Bathrooms were clean (as of Sept, 2018), nice trees, a walking path, access to and from a bike trail, and a play ground for kids. Not a ton of parking though. The park is in u-shaped valley in a neighborhood of tract homes. You can hear nearby Soledad road, but it's less of a roar and more background noise that could almost be water if you just use your imagination and don't think too much. Park faces west so setting sun illuminates the area. The neighborhood homes sit above the park so I'm sure they have a view of you as you sit at your picnic. This is a really neat little park! Lots of bike trails leading off of it, a paved trail encircling it too. Brand new play equipment, for both younger tots and older kids.
