āIntegrity And Hope Is Found Hereā
There comes a time in life when you need help, understanding, and guidance. Itās not always easy to admit that you donāt have all the answers or that the people you once relied on may not have the tools to help you. Navigating an uncertain road can be daunting, but I am beyond grateful to have found Action Family Counseling in Santa Clarita, CA.
From my very first interaction with, Cary Quashen, CEO
who graciously guided me to Stephanie Ortiz, the Program Director, my experience has been nothing short of exceptional. Stephanie Ortiz is a truly remarkable individual, someone I would describe as the queen of therapeutic and mental health programs. With a professional background in healthcare and the therapeutic world myself, I can honestly say I have never met someone with such sincerity, integrity, and kindness.
Stephanieās leadership is unmatched. She leads by example, caring deeply for every individual under her care. Her ability to balance professionalism with genuine compassion is a rare gift. Itās clear that she is driven by a deep sense of purpose, and her dedication shines in everything she does. Stephanie holds your hand and shows you the way when the road ahead feels unclear. Her honesty, expertise, and heartfelt approach make all the difference.
I also want to acknowledge the staff at Action Family Counseling. Their attention to detail, ethical standards, and unwavering professionalism are a testament to the quality of care provided here. This team works together to create a safe, supportive environment where both individuals and families can heal and grow.
Having loved ones who are utilizing services here has been eye-opening. As educated and experienced as I may be, when it happens to you personally, itās a whole new ball game. Action Family Counseling is a place where you can find support, understanding, and solutionsāwhether for yourself or someone you care about.
I canāt recommend Action Family Counseling and Stephanie Ortiz enough. If you or a loved one are looking for help, this is the place to be. I am profoundly grateful for everything theyāve done and for the hope theyāve given us.
Thank you, Cary, Stephanie, and the entire team at Action Family Counseling, for making such a meaningful difference in my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was referred to Action through my insurance, and Iām so glad that I was given the opportunity to complete the program. Action has a great team of very dedicated staff who are (almost) all in recovery themselves. It is a very well rounded staff of very different personalities which ensured that clients of every background had someone to relate to. Cary, the owner is a funny, down to earth guy who checks in frequently and is kind, compassionate and passionate for what he does. Itās clear he is dedicated to helping others recover and attempts to bond with each individual that comes through his doors. Brian, who held the group every morning has a great sense of humor, is incredibly relatable and very open and honest with his own struggles with addiction. He has incredible insight and made each morning a learning experience through client check-ins. Lance, the therapist on staff is a very caring, sweet gentleman who gets you thinking more about yourself and your journey. Shannon leads the final group of the day and makes sure everyone is in touch with their own bodies through yoga, stretching and mindfulness. She has also had a great deal of struggles which she shared openly, and is able to relate and share insight with everyone. The rest of the staff, office, intake and more (Veronica, David, Danielle) make sure to interact and build relationships with clients as well and each offer a unique approach to recovery. The program, whether it be inpatient or out, has the ability to impact each person thatās willing to accept the help. It made my journey to sobriety attainable and I learned a great deal in the time that I was there. Thanks Action, for being so dedicated to recovery and welcoming everyone...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI just finished 3 weeks of treatment here. I didn't go there for family counseling but for treatment for my alcoholism. It was an amazing experience. There's a guy named Lance who facilitated the 11am groups and this guy blew me away. His knowledge, compassion and intellect were way above average. Another facilitator is Brian. His experience makes him an excellent facilitator. Brian's ability to break down the disease is incredible. They both meet you where you're at and engage all the clients very respectfully. No-one there tries to challenge you or change your opinions. They truly did care about me and left me with great insight and tools for my recovery. Then there's Cary Quashen. He's got over forty years of sobriety and a seriously positive vibe. He displayed an ability to encourage and motivate us clients that gave me hope for my future. Cary would pop into the groups randomly and share his vast insight with the group. His kindness was out of this world. On a quick side issue they provide breakfast and lunch for their clients. I met some amazing people and swapped phone numbers. If you need help with substance abuse issues call them, they're on...
