Lincoln Amphitheatre — Attraction in Santa Claus

The grounds were immaculate and very tastefully designed. The amphitheater was clean. It would have been nice for the chairs to have cup holders. And perhaps some large ceiling fans to have some air movement. The bathrooms were the only building air conditioned so that was a nice treat on a muggy evening. The concessions are priced quite reasonably. The hot dog was very hot which was a pleasant surprise. I appreciated the option to have a baggie of fresh veggies and dip. Better than a bag of chips! Water was cold but could have been colder for my taste. I didn’t see anything served with ice, so refrigeration had to suffice. I would not hesitate recommending the amphitheater to anyone. I'm disable and my husband just had a new hip replacement surgery a couple weeks ago as soon as we parked in the handicap space a very nice man driving a cart asked us if we wanted a ride to the main entrance and he was one of several there helping handicap people get up there then a very nice lady came out to talk to us about setting ,everyone was nice and even kept us up on the weather report as bad weather approached which in the heat the rain was welcomed to a point then after the concert someone picked us up almost right away and took us to our jeep I had been really worried about my husband going, but with the help of everyone it was a great night, and even the refreshments were reasonable Thank you we are looking forward...

Having seen all the other Lincoln plays this one was the most disappointing. The talent was great and the narrator was very good, the play itself lacked excitement. What happened to scenery and moving props? This production felt like a very long and sometimes boring history lesson. I miss the emotions from the other plays. I hope there's another play coming in a year or so with much more 'entertainment ' . Most people know he where he grew up. Don't need to keep repeating that. Stories of experiences would be much better and sell more tickets. Sorry I couldn't recommend this...
