Lincoln state park is very nice and I have been going since I was a child. We have rented their facility for events and enjoyed ourself very much. My only complaint is that we were there for a Jewish holiday and part of the commandment is to blow the shofar (horn) . This was not in violation of their sound ordinance because it was before dark; but one of the park rangers insisted we could not blow them. I didn't make an issue out of it; but legally I could have. It is much better and more fairly priced than the one closer to the park and you avoid most of the party campers that way too. Easy drive to the theme park but you should stay and enjoy the lake! They have great sites for rvs and campers and lots of shady grassy spots for tents as well. They also have several handicapped spots that are very roomy with paved accesses. Read moreThis is a great State Park. If you have Indiana Park pass, you can use it to get in here. They have a very nice campground and sites with electric and water. Shower houses here are clean and well kept. There is a very large lake with paddle boat and kayak rental. Outdoor music concerts are at the amphitheater here as well. They also have cabin rentals.
