French Press Custom Apparel Printing & Design — Attraction in Santa Fe Springs

I don't submit reviews, but if I do it's for a real issue and learning experience to pass on to potential customers. I can't get into details due to legalities, but I will update review after the court case is closed. But I will say this was my 1st and last time dealing with them. And this is the 1st time I had to seek a lawyer for a dispute over a blatant errors made. To add insult to injury Jay expressed his dislike for my design as an acceptable reason to resell the whole batch of shirts with my copy written designs for penny's on the dollar as a way to recoup for their losses. Meanwhile claiming I would have to wait two weeks for refund after deductions are made or they can reprint in one week. If that isn't the weakest attempt to pigeonhole me into bad reprints I don't know what is. So now I have to wait another 2 weeks till refund to get another shop to print shirts, now putting my launch 4 weeks behind schedule, while my 1st of batch of misprints gets put into circulation at a local neighborhood bootlegger. This is supposed to be high end streetwear designs that will now be passed out like 2nd hand clothing before I even get a chance to launch or promote my product. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism, poor quality and pettiness to this degree. Before ordering I spent 45 minutes on phone with Jay going over my checklist and past experiences and standard I was looking for. The next day I even drove an hour to check out set up and bring by previous samples of my expectations (they are no where near DTLA like they claim on site). They assured me this was an easy job and expressed interest in earning my business. I simply stated I just need integrity and quality. They failed on both miserably. Even had the audacity to argue and shift blame like I had fault in the 100% misprint You and a 5 day late deadline, that ended up being 8 days late. Never have I experienced this with any misprint in the past. And never have I been threaten or gaslighted by a vendor about leaving a review or seeking a just conclusion. If you're a company or entrepreneur looking to start a brand that cares about quality, time , integrity, and professionalism? Run away, fast! If you are a local soccer team this may work if you do not care for mistakes or deadlines. I wasted 3 weeks dealing with French press , lost thousands, and now have to push back release and lose more money. Note to consumer to reiterate; they claim they can resale your copyrighted designs that you don't approve of due to their errors, even if it's 100% misprint ratio. I was new to LA and was looking for a new printer to work with. I’ve searched around many different businesses and, because I care deeply about the quality of work, I didn’t even care if the business was local to my neighborhood or not - I was willing to drive if the quality would be worth it. I ended up landing with French Press Customs after seeing a friend work with them, which I drive an hour to visit, but, the decision was ABSOLUTELY worth it!

When it comes to working with a business, I want the company I’m working with to be the best, extremely knowledgeable, and passionate about what they do. I believe passion really sets the customer service apart, as well as the quality of work. French Press Customs was exactly that and more.

I was able to trust them with the entire process through and through- from walking me around the store and introducing me to the different garment materials, as well as the ink qualities and their purpose, to the entire process of placing my order.

I must say, I’m the one who made the process a little complicated lol I was changing my mind and my order around a few times. The level of patience that Kyle and Johnny had for me was incredible, and I honestly felt really bad, but they were so compassionate AND enthusiastic for me during such a stressful time.

I completed my order with a few different garments with a number of different designs and colors, with tags printed, garment folded, bagged, adding size stickers - and they completed the order PERFECTLY.

Everyone who has their hands on my shirts now are absolutely pleased with the quality of the shirts, as well as the ink. It’s been 6 months, and I have yet to hear from anyone that their ink have started cracking or anything like that. I’m coming back now to order more and continue working with them.

I don’t know how to describe it…but when I met Kyle for the first time and he was taking his time getting to know me and my vision, walking me through the store and explaining everything for me, I could just tell he really takes pride in what he does. He said so himself that - everything they produce has their name on it - so they strive for perfection. This means that the quality of YOUR order will be taken care of and assured to look great.

You need to contact them ASAP for all and every kind of merch you can think of, especially on apparel. Why? Each person I’ve interacted with are professional, friendly, creative, and honest. Not only are they good people, they produce good work at a fantastic price.

I used this local business because all the owners are local, born and raised in the area — Cypress, East LA, and Long Beach.
