Golden hues abound in every shade of brush land brown from the sunlight's bursts and the scattered cloud shadows. Serene and surreal is this dry, dusty high desert trail called El Camino Real. Bike it mid winter for some solitary soul kinder.

Nice way to escape city on bicycle. The paved trail connects to a lot of facilities like dog parks, giant sports complex and golf course. If you keep going, it turns to dirt and connect to Caja del Rio and the Rio Grande.

I had an adventure walking this trail which runs alongside Agua Fria Rd. A great place to walk your dogs, ride a bike, even dirt bikes, jogging, treasure hunting along the Santa Fe River, or just simply taking a nice walk. Lots of beautiful scenery, and another great reminder why New Mexico is called the Land of...

This trail is really boring as you are just running along by fields of scruffy grass and cactus. But it's definitely a different type of experience than the mountains or other trails, and there was almost no one there. It also goes a great distance, I only did a small portion. Probably be much...
