A PLACE TO PLAY

A place to worship is a place to play. Soaking up God's creation here on any given day. The colors of life are a sight to behold. From the gray morning sky to the sun's brilliant gold. One can walk or meditate or pray and then enjoy the beautiful abundance for an entire day. The trees are lush with reddish green leaves and will provide more shades in their canopied relief. The flowers bloom in appealing yellows and reds as they hug the ground in their living beds. You can watch the game or play the game or watch the light of the full moon rippling gently across the fishing lagoon. The immense variety of birds here that fly back and forth are the most impressive sightings for all their worth. And your pet will know you care when you bring them here as they do love those long walks in the evening air. And tikes on bikes are just so fitting, especially when grandma is here watching and knitting. Many an inspiration has come from a place to play and I will come back to worship here for another day. A place to play, A place to worship, and a place to cheer. And when I die they can cast my ashes around right here.

I go there for RC (Radio Controlled) car fun. There is a mid-sized off-road Electric RC Track approved by the city and maintained by the local RC community (Please keep it and the adjacent sidewalks clean.) Only electric vehicles can be run their, so please don't bring any gas/nitro vehicles. The last I heard the city also does not approve of flight RC anywhere in the park either. It normally has a few soccer games going on with lots of children around so flying is just not safe during peak/busy times. There is also room for RC Drag racing in the parking lots, but again ONLY during slow times when the soccer fields are not being used for games, the parking lots are just too busy to safely run RC at high speeds. I'm obviously someone who only uses the park for RC, just keep in mind we always come 2nd for priority, so please ALWAYS keep it safe, especially when your not on our city designated dirt track. Sunday is probably the biggest race day for people on the track if you want to run with other people. Sonoma County RC Offroad, on Facebook is the best resource for the track info...

I live near this park it has the new Beluzio field for Soccer that used to be of off of Todd road near the 101 overpass. Outstanding dedication to youth soccer. I recognized the white goal posts as I have welded and repaired a few of them many years ago. there is One thing that bothers me about the park and that is that it was planned to have more activities that never came to be. there was much done on the pond which seemed to be the main focus in the construction of the park. things like the skatepark and a few others never came to be. I have tried to research the original use for the pond that was already there but have not ran across anything so far. I read in the Press Demo once that the cost to dig and transport the soil from the pond cost more than expected. there is a dog park and a baseball field. RC track. overall the park is Safe and not much crime. walking around the lake is fun and one lap around is farther...

Large and in charge (for evacuation). Beautiful, busy place to enjoy nature and retreat from the wildfires. Learned it was previously a water reclamation or similar facility. Well handled by those working there when I couldn't stay at my vacation camping spot at Spring Lake. That whole ash snowstorm days with a cherry tomato in the sky. It's nice there.

First time to this Place to Play. Plenty of room for all to enjoy; human and non. Soccer fields, playground, numerous paths to explore, There is a lake for nesting waterfowl and other migrating winded creatures. Photo opportunities abound here. I will be back for more.

Wide open spaces, kids play structure, RV track, baseball diamond, massive dog park, walking trails, ponds & wildlife, & lots & lots of pristinely maintained soccer field area! Also has public rest rooms, drinking fountains & parking. Open dawn till dusk daily.
