Urfer Family Park is a wonderful destination for families looking to spend some quality time outdoors. The park is well-maintained and offers a wide range of activities for visitors of all ages. The playground area is spacious and features a variety of equipment that is safe and fun for kids to play on. The park also has several picnic areas with tables and grills, making it the perfect spot for a family picnic or barbecue.

One of the highlights of Urfer Family Park is the nature trail that winds through the woods and around the lake. The trail is well-marked and offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Along the way, visitors can spot a variety of wildlife, including birds, turtles, and fish.

The park also has a large open field that is perfect for sports and other outdoor activities. Visitors can bring their own equipment or borrow equipment from the park office. There is also a dog park on-site, making Urfer Family Park a great place to bring your furry friends.

Overall, I highly recommend Urfer Family Park to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day outdoors. The park has something for everyone and is a great place to spend time with family...

This is my favorite park to take my dog and watch the Cracker Cattle. There are multiple areas that teach different ways to exercise with the equipment there for you to do the exercises. There is a big playground, and a large paved path. I love walking down the trails and getting deep into the woods! It's a wonderful park. The only thing I can say negatively is that there are many used/abandoned hobo camps and garbage once you go off trail into the unmarked woods. As a community we can clean up trash a bit at a time when we visit! I usually take a plastic bag and gloves so I can nab a few pieces of garbage. ☺️ Overall, this is a wonderful park. There are three ponds right near the parking lot. I've seen turtles, otters, and a small gator or two. It is also a great place to watch Blue jays and Red Cardinals. I see them almost every time I visit. And don't forget the gopher tortoises. They've got spunk lol. To wrap it all up, bring your kids here, bring your buddies, bring your pup and bring grandma! It's a park...

We LOVE this park. Not only is it central to the BeeRidge Road area, but it’s got a wide variety of things to do.

They have a few trails, both paved and non to explore. They also have workout equipment along the trail with instructions if you choose to use them.

They have a 12+ playground, a 6-11 play ground, and a toddler playground, as well as plenty of swings.

There are plenty of benches and picnic tables throughout the property. There’s also an event area that you can rent with many tables underneath a cover.

There’s a nice little pond that I see people fishing in or picnicking by frequently, and a large open grassy field for free range recreational play.

They do have bathroom facilities that I would rate a 2/5 for cleanliness, but it’s there if you need it.

They have water fountains, a water bottle refill station, and a pet fountain.

Overall, we love this park and it’s usually maintained fairly well.

Bonus: Any fellow readers will love its’ Free Little Library near the...

Tortoises, birds and, scrub cattle, oh my! Learn a bit about Florida’s cattle raising past while walking the nature filled, well marked paths throughout the trail area. You will likely come across a gopher tortoise or two (remember to not disturb them), see many types of birds and, if you are lucky, find the scrub cattle grazing in their pasture! If nature isn’t your thing, there is a paved path going around a large section of the park that also features several workout stations with detailed instructions on how to safely perform the exercise. There is also a bit of cool history in the park with the Wilson house, an NRHP recognized home that was built in a completely different part of town in 1907 and was moved to this current location in 2004. Great place to bring your dog/s for a walk. Just make sure they are on a 6 foot leash! There is also a large playground for families with children.
