Fantastic little spot to watch the sunrise. Probably THE best of the spots at city level. If you are willing to climb mountains there are lots of spectacular views but this place takes the cake for a sunrise without a long hike beforehand. Highly recommend checking it out.
Suggestion: arrive thirty minutes before sunrise to watch the sky change colors as the sun makes it's way up past the horizon and toward the mountain peaks. Sometimes this doesn't happen but when it does it is beautiful.

Read moreInlet Park is a good place to go to just get away from the chaos of life for a minute. It runs right alongside where the Jordan River starts flowing from out of Utahlake. It gives good access and parking to enjoy a stroll on foot or by bike along the Jordan River Trail.
If you head out on the trail to the South near the restrooms, it's about .5 mile walk to a pretty good warm spring pond to have a soak in, but be aware, if you go after 10:00pm, don't be surprised if you get the joy of meeting Utah County's best in uniform because this is one Park that curfew is strictly enforced.

Read moreIf you put it into Google maps it will take you to the middle of a road so go to inlet Park and then walk down the trail (about quarter of a mile) and there you are! It's nice and warm and not too busy. I brought my 3 little kids and they loved it! It only gets about 4 ft deep at the deepest. It's kinda really muddy so bring really warm clothes to just put over your swimming suit to get dirty when you get out. We went on a day that was 30-40 degrees and it was so so cold getting out.
